Official Rules

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO PARTICIPATE. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. VOID OUTSIDE THE 50 UNITED STATES, THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA, AND WHERE PROHIBITED. RCA "Game Changing Play" Sweepstakes ("Sweepstakes") is open to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia who are 18 years of age or older as of 8/22/05 (see further restrictions in Rule 4 below). Sweepstakes begins at 12:01 AM Central Time ("CT") on 8/22/05 and ends online at 11:59:59 PM (CT) on 1/02/06 ("Promotion Period").

TO ENTER: Go to www.rca.com and follow the on-screen instructions to enter one or more of the four (4) online sweepstakes offered during the entry periods described below. All entries received between 12:00:00 AM on the first date listed in the entry period column below and 11:59:59 PM on the second date listed in the entry period column will be eligible for the drawing scheduled for the date noted in the drawing dates column only and will not be included in subsequent drawings.

Limit one entry per person and/or household for each entry period. Limit one prize per person and/or household. Entries become property of Thomson Corporation ("Sponsor") and none will be returned. 2. PRIZE WINNER SELECTIONS: Winners will be selected in random drawings from among all eligible entries received for each of the four entry periods. Drawings 1-4 will be held on or about 9/08/05, 10/13/05, 11/24/05, and 1/03/06 by Promotion Activators, Inc., an independent judging organization, whose decisions shall be final on all matters related to this sweepstakes. Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received for each entry period. 3. PRIZE: One (1) Prize Per Drawing: 50" RCA Scenium DLP HDTV with integrated DCR and ATSC tuner (model HD50LPW167). Approximate retail value: $2,699.00 each. The winner, or parent or legal guardian of winner if winner is 18 years old but considered a minor in their state of residence, will be responsible for all federal, state and/or other income taxes on prize. Prizes are non-transferable and no substitutions or cash redemptions will be made except as provided herein or at the Sponsor's sole discretion.

Winner must comply with all Sweepstakes rules as published. Winner will be notified by overnight mail and will be required to execute and return an affidavit of eligibility and liability/publicity release (where permitted) within twenty-one (21) days of notification. If Winner is 18 years of age, but considered a minor in their state of residence, prize will be awarded on winner's behalf to a parent/legal guardian of winner who must execute and return all required documents as noted previously in these rules. Failure of Prize winner (or his/her parent or legal guardian) to comply with the above prize claim requirements for any reason, or the return of any prize notification or prize as undeliverable, or the determination that the winner is ineligible to receive a prize, will result in forfeiture of the prize. If winner is found to be in violation of any of these rules he/she will be required to forfeit his/her prize, or, at Sponsor's discretion, to reimburse Sponsor for the value of the prize if such violation is found after the prize has been used. If the prize is forfeited for any reason, an alternate winner will be drawn at random from the remaining eligible entries and awarded the prize. Unless otherwise noted, allow approximately 4 to 6 weeks for shipment of prize following completion of notification process and verification of eligibility. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute any listed prize for one of equal or greater value if the designated prize should become unavailable for any reason. 4. ELIGIBILITY: Employees of Sponsor, its parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, agents, retailers, advertising, promotion, and judging agencies and members of the immediate families or households of any of the above are NOT eligible to participate. For purposes of these rules, "immediate families" means parents or legal guardians, siblings, children and spouse and "step" of each. 5. GENERAL: In the event of a dispute as to the identity of an online entrant, online entries will be deemed made by the authorized account holder of the e-mail address submitted at time of entry. The authorized account holder is the natural person assigned to the e-mail address by an internet access provider, online service provider, or other organization responsible for assigning e-mail addresses. Prize must be accepted as awarded. Except where prohibited by law, acceptance of prize constitutes permission to use winner's name, hometown, likeness, photograph, statements made by winner about the promotion and/or prize information for advertising and publicity purposes in all media worldwide without limitation and without additional compensation. By participating, participants agree to abide by and be bound by these official rules and the judges' decisions, which are final in all matters relating to this Sweepstakes. By accepting prize, winner agrees to release Sponsor, its respective parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, directors, officers, employees, and agents, including but not limited to Promotion Activators, Inc., from any and all liability for any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind resulting from or in connection with the acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of the prize or participation in the Sweepstakes or in prize-related activities. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, suspend, or modify the Sweepstakes, should a virus, bugs, tampering or other causes beyond the control of the Sponsor corrupt the administration, security or proper operation of the Sweepstakes. In the event that the Sweepstakes is cancelled during the Promotion Period, prize will be awarded from among all eligible, non-suspect, entries received as of the time/date that the Sweepstakes was terminated. Sponsor assumes no responsibility or liability for any incorrect or inaccurate entry information, or for any unauthorized access to, or theft, destruction or alteration of entries at any point in the operation of this Sweepstakes. Sponsor and its agencies are not responsible for computer system, phone line, hardware, software, or program malfunctions, or other errors, failures or delays in computer transmissions or network connections or Sweepstakes play that are human or technical in nature. Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Sweepstakes or falsifying entry or verification information. Any individual's use of robotic, automatic, programmed or similar entry methods will void all entries by that individual. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify entrants who violate any of the official rules, or attempt to interfere with the promotion in any manner. Any attempt by an entrant to deliberately damage the web site or undermine the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes may be a violation of criminal and civil laws and should such an attempt be made, Sponsor reserves the right to seek remedies and damages (including but not limited to attorney's fees) from any such entrant to the fullest extent of the law, including criminal prosecution. 6.
